A master planned community is a large-scale residential development that includes amenities for its residents. These amenities – such as swimming pools, playgrounds, recreation centers, and trails – are what distinguish a master planned community from a typical housing subdivision

The Trails is located in Harris County, the City of New Caney, Texas and zoned to Huffman ISD. 

New Caney is located within the Houston metropolitan area and about 40 minutes from downtown Houston.

A move-in ready home (also known as a quick move in or QMI) is a home that is under construction or already completed and ready for you and your family to move into as soon as you’ve closed on the house.

VISITOR INFORMATION

Almost! The playground and first trail are set to open in May, with construction on the amenity center beginning later this year. In the meantime, you can explore 7 fully furnished model homes, open daily within the community.

The Trails site plan shows the location of the model homes. When you pull into the community, you will see signage directing you to each. The address for GPS is 28827 Cross Pines Drive, New Caney, TX 77357.

A homeowners association is an organization responsible for enhancing the lives of a community’s residents and for safeguarding property values of the homes within the community. It does so by establishing rules and guidelines for maintaining the community’s overall appearance, overseeing the maintenance and repair of amenities and other community assets, and coordinating activities and events for residents.

The HOA fee for 2025 is $900/year. There is also a one-time $900 capitalization fee due at closing.
