The Trails, a rapidly-growing community of new homes located off the Grand Parkway at Plum Grove Road (28827 Cross Pines Drive), will welcome visitors for the return of “Taste of The Trails” set for Saturday, April 25 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Trails will host an exclusive event for Houston-area Realtors, inviting agents to experience the New Caney community during its Spring Fest & Model Home Tour on Thursday, April 23 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Construction is underway on a new amenity complex at The Trails, Castle Hill Partners’ master-planned community in New Caney.

“From the beginning, our vision for The Trails has been to create a community that feels connected to nature, recreation and to one another,” said Tiffany McMillan, vice president of asset management for Castle Hill Partners, in a statement. “Our new amenity campus will bring that vision to life by offering residents a venue where they can relax, gather and build lasting memories.”

Castle Hill Partners’ community is one of many being developed or planned in the area since that segment of the Grand Parkway opened.

The development emphasizes walkability with 600 acres of its land designated for nature trails.

Austin’s Castle Hill Partners is launching its next major project in the Houston region. Named “The Trails,” this development will span 1,373 acres around Plum Grove Road, adjacent to the Grand Parkway’s northeast section that became operational in May 2022.

After a decade of land ownership, Austin-based Castle Hill Partners is moving forward on a nature-focused community planned for more than 2,000 homes along the Grand Parkway northeast of Houston.
